Earth mobile specialize in the collection of unwanted mobile phones for recycling. We offer two initiatives for corporate clients either directed at collecting staff personal handsets in support of charity funding or a fully managed corporate programme where we pay market leading prices to buy back end of life/unused assets. We also run collection initiatives for schools and community projects creating much needed revenue for sponsored charities and school equipment.

Recycling your phones with Earth mobile couldn't be easier or better for the environment. At Earth mobile we ensure that our mobile phone recycling has minimal environmental impact. Working phones are refurbished and sold on to developing countries, providing first-time affordable communications. Phones that can't be reused are disposed of safely, meeting with government regulations including the forthcoming Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive due to be enforced late 2006. We operate a zero landfill policy for all redundant handsets.

By using either service Earth mobile will ensure that you meet your obligations under the WEEE directive. A fully transparent audit trail of all handsets purchased or donated will be created and accessible at all times via our website. As a licensed waste carrier Earth mobile will log all IMEI numbers, destination of phones, weight and category and will issue waste transfer notes as part of our duty of care responsibility where required.

Any data stored on a phone handled by Earth mobile or it's partners will be completely erased from all levels before re-entering the telecoms market.

For corporate clients this service allows you to convert unused assets within your company into funds that you can be donated to your chosen charity. You will also be supporting Corporate Social Responsibility policies and increasing your 'green credibility with your staff and consumer.
